Newly Issued Standardized Development and Building Regulations for 2023


The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) has released the ‘Standardized Development and Building Regulations, 2023,’ encapsulated in Special Publication SP 73: 2023.

  • These regulations, in line with the National Building Code of India 2016 (NBC 2016) and influenced by global best practices, establish a comprehensive framework. Their primary focus is on ensuring safety, accessibility, and sustainability in construction practices.
