Recently, on the occasion of Good Governance Day, Defence Secretary Shri Rajesh Kumar Singh unveiled the Rashtraparv Website and Mobile App.

  • This initiative honours former Prime Minister Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s legacy by enhancing public access to national event information.

  • The Rashtraparv website and its mobile app are developed by the Ministry of Defence.
  • Its initiative serves as a one-stop platform for national events like Republic Day, Independence Day, and the Beating Retreat Ceremony.

    • Live streaming of events.
    • Easy ticket purchases.
    • Detailed seating arrangements and route maps.
  • Special Functionality: The platform includes a Tableau Management Portal that enables states, UTs, ministries, and departments to design and manage their Republic Day tableau proposals.
    • This addresses long-standing requests from states for better coordination tools.
  • User-Driven Development: The platform incorporates comprehensive information on parades, tableaus, and other event highlights, and it enables the public to leave feedback about it.
