TROPEX-25
Context:
The Indian Navy’s biennial Theatre Level Operational Readiness Exercise (TROPEX-25) is underway in the Indian Ocean Region. It focuses on testing combat readiness, joint operations, and maritime security against conventional and asymmetric threats.

Large-scale Military Exercise:
- TROPEX-25 spans three months (JanβMar 2025), involving all Indian Naval units, the Army, Air Force, and Coast Guard.
- It integrates cyber warfare, electronic warfare, live weapon firings, and amphibious operations.
Massive Naval Deployment:
- Features 65 warships, 9 submarines, and 80+ aircraft operating in complex maritime scenarios.
