The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) gives away the answer keys for all the examinations after the entire selection process. The UPSC answer key for respective Exams is available only on the Commission’s official website for objective type tests.
UPSC releases the answer keys for IAS exam, CDS, NDA, CMS, IES, CAPF Assistant Commandant, CISF AC and Engineering Services (Preliminary).

The Civil Services (Preliminary) examination is an objective type test which comprises of two papers, namely, the General Studies and Civil Services Aptitude Test (CSAT).
The Commission will release the official IAS answer keys 2021 for Civil Services Preliminary only after the completion of the entire selection process. Hence, we have decided to provide the UPSC answer key 2021 for the Civil Services Preliminary exam.
Candidates who have appeared for the written examination can access the tentative IAS answer keys (Preliminary) 2021 to evaluate their performance.
Objections Against IAS Answer Key 2021
After the release of answer key, UPSC provides an opportunity to raise an objection against UPSC IAS answer key. Objections can only be raised if a candidate finds any incorrect answer. The process to raise the objection against the answer key is conducted online on the UPSC website, upsc.gov.in. Objections can be submitted within one week from the releases of answer key. We have provided here a simple step by step guide on how to raise objections against the official answer keys.
