Global Diabetes Compact

Global Diabetes Compact was launched by the World Health Organisation (WHO) to boost the global response to diabetes. It was initiated while marking the 100th anniversary of the discovery of insulin.

The Global Diabetes Compact

 This programme focuses on improving access to diagnostic tools and medicines to low and middle-income countries. It will set standards for combating diabetes in the form of “global coverage targets” for ensuring wider access to diabetes treatment.





The Human Landing System Program

The Human Landing System Program is a part of NASA’s Artemis Program that seeks to take two American astronauts to the Moon by 2024. The Human Landing System is to be the final transportation mode of the Artemis program that will land the astronauts on the moon. In 2019, NASA invited innovative designs for the lander from American firms. Out of the 3 shortlisted candidates, SpaceX has been selected to develop the lander.
