UPSC 2020: Interview date fixed


Good news for IAS aspirants! UPSC has decided to resume the test of Civil Services Examination 2020 as Covid cases decline.

As Covid Cases within the country started declining, UPSC announced the revised date of the CSE test (PT) 2020.

The interviews are going to be held in UPSC Office, New Delhi from August 02, 2021, to September 22, 2021.

The results are expected to be declared within every week – once the interviews are over.

The date of the UPSC CSE preliminary exam 2021 is October 10, 2021.

What happened earlier?

On the idea of the results of the Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2020 declared by the Union Public Service Commission on 23rd March 2021, the Commission decided to commence the Personality Tests (Interviews) of the Civil Services Examination, 2020 from 26.04.2021.

However, thanks to unprecedented growth within the number of individuals infected with Novel Corona Virus (COVID-19) countrywide, as a precautionary measure, the Union Public Service Commission deferred the test of the CIVIL SERVICES EXAMINATION 2020 which were scheduled to commence with effect from 26.04.2020 (Monday).

UPSC CSE 2020 Interview to start from August 02, 2021

Update 9th June 2021: After reviewing things, the Commission has decided to commence the test of the Civil Services Examination, 2020 from 02.08.2021.

The e-Summon Letters of Personality Tests (Interviews) of the candidates are going to be made available shortly, which can be downloaded from the Commission’s Website https://www.upsc.gov.in & https://www.upsconline.in.

No request for change within the date and time of the test (Interview) intimated to the candidates will ordinarily be entertained.
